D' MARIA SCAGLIONE Creative since a very young child, Doni (as her friends call her) loved to draw, color and make up her own brand of comic books. Often times she would be reprimanded for her attention to her comic book artistry in class rather than the subject at hand, especially during math. Other passions are poetry and song writing which she has been writing since her early teens. D'Maria has nearly completed her B.A.degree. Through the years she worked in law enforcement, including NASA Security at Kennedy Space Center Florida. But due to an injury and then major illness, D'Maria took an early retirement which has enabled her to seek her dreams. She decided to paint and finish manuscripts. Now she is a published author and is fast becoming known for her artwork. Ms. Scaglione has received many poetry awards and has been published in recovery magazines. She writes in many genres, but her favorite is children's books and fantasy. She had no concept of what would await her on Earth as a mortal or even why the Lord had chosen her for this new mission. Yet one day, Beautiful Dreamer was swept away from her perfect home. Her brother, Razzie, resented his younger sister because she was different than all of the other bunnies. So one day, he decided to lead his innocent sister away to fend for herself in the wilderness. He knew the place he had taken her to was where coyotes roamed, and rabbits were a tasty feast.
